Portable autoclave is a 24 L electric or LPG heated top loading high pressure steam sterilizing unit with a sterilizing temperature of 126 °C. It is a Class N autoclave with complete leak proof chamber providing efficient sterilization process resulting in destruction of all living organisms due to the high pressure and temperature maintained. Autoclave sterilization works by using heat to kill microorganisms such as bacteria and spores. The heat is delivered by pressurized steam. Pressurization allows the steam to reach the high temperatures that are required for sterilization.
